Refund Policy — Ambrosia Watchworks

Because Ambrosia Watchworks provides skilled labor and restoration services, all work performed is non-refundable once the service is completed.

However, your satisfaction matters. If you experience an issue with your repaired watch, please contact me within 14 days of receiving it, and I will evaluate the watch at no additional labor cost.

What is covered

  • If a repair I performed fails due to workmanship within 30 days, I will correct the issue at no additional labor charge.

  • Any parts installed will be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty (when applicable).

What is not covered

  • Damage caused by drops, moisture, misuse, magnetism, shock, or improper handling after the repair.

  • Watches previously serviced by others after leaving Ambrosia Watchworks.

  • Vintage watches with age-related instability not predictable during service (e.g., brittle components, worn parts, degraded seals).

  • Watches used in water without a verified water-resistance test.

  • Inaccuracies within the reasonable tolerance of the movement type (particularly vintage and non-chronometer movements).

Deposits

For some projects, especially complex antique restorations, a deposit may be required. Deposits are non-refundable because they cover evaluation time, parts sourcing, and teardown.

Change-of-mind refunds

Once service has begun, refunds are not available.
